The Magnificent Artist
A beautiful story of two creatures journey from utter despair to a realisation of their own beauty and talents, while realising how much they are loved by their creator that never leaves them nor forsakes them.
The Magnificent Artist was inspired by Irene Prins-Murphy by a poem she had written in 1993 a year after she was miraculously healed from post-partum depression. The words kept coming and she kept them all these years wondering what and how to share these beautiful words to the world.
Her and her husband’s life journey, their challenges and realisations of how they so desperately needed to stay close to their Creator God.
Irene has been an avid storyteller to her three children, the many Childcare and Preschool settings she has taught in, and now loves to share stories with her three treasured grandchildren.
After twenty-eight years of teaching children she went on to caring for the elderly from 2008-2021 as a Health Care Worker.
In 2022 it was time to finally concentrate on her poem and hone in on her story telling skills, The Magnificent Artist was birthed.
It is her desire that you will enjoy reading it as much as she enjoyed writing it.
